Discover the surroundings and location of Bodega Corisca: the remains of an abandoned village, its history, the traces of its culture and traditions.
We will begin the visit of the vinyard through the plot called Malladoura. We will walk along it to discover its vines and its hidden biodiversity, as we explain our work from the beginning, from the soil up, and the processes of our organic production.
After a 600-metre walk through the vineyards, we will discover the archaeological remains that the plot is named after, the stone formations of LA MALLADOURA, and will learn about their historical uses. We will also recover the memory of an ancient communal water mill, whose remains lay hidden in the forest.
We will then return to the winery to visit its indoor installations and find out how our award-winning wines are made.
We will go on to the tasting area, with views over the vinyard, to try three wines:
- A vertical tasting of Corisca from two different vintages and our very special Corisca Finca Malladoura. We will accompany this tasting with a corn flour pie (“empanada de millo”) with bay scallops and algae made by a local artisan, and some organic mussels.
The natural beauty and atmosphere of the winery offer an ideal location in which to enjoy this experience.
