From the platinum silicone menstrual cup to the one hundred percent vegetable sausage: 14 companies from Vigo make the international leap

The Galicia Avanza small and medium-sized business acceleration program has accompanied 14 companies in the Vigo area on their international leap. The Ministry of Economy launched the initiative in 2022 and has served to help open new markets through the Galician Agency for Innovation (Gain), the Galician Institute for Economic Promotion (Igape) and Tecnópole. Of the 30 innovative or technology-based firms that participated, half were from Vigo and its surroundings.

Corisca Wineries. It is in Salceda de Caselas and has the only organic Albariño wine from the Rías Baixas designation of origin. Produces wine without additives or preservatives. The company already exports half of its production, although it aspires to reach more countries where organic products are especially valued.
